The latest instructional Laurence Juber DVDs are the best yet. I
like having two options with both Standard (Composing & Arranging Vol. 3) and DADAGAD tunings (Vol. 2) being
offered. The inclusion of two camera angles on the main screen is a
wonderful addition to the disk as it allows me to see what I will be
viewing should I decide to select one of the alternate angles.
However, I have not found this to be necessary because all three
images work in harmony.
The DADAGAD DVD is great not only for the tunes that LJ has
selected to teach, but also because he shows how to use this knowledge
to enhance other musical pieces I already play. And of I like the
fact that there are songs that are accessible as well as those songs
which present the challenge of a lifetime.
This latest offering shows why Solid Air Records is the leader in instructional DVDs for serious guitarists.
